The Great Reset: Mises in Birmingham

Students apply for an admission scholarship here.

In recent years, Americans have suffered from the horrors of covid tyranny, government-directed corporate censorship, and now our current banking crisis. The global elite have never been more obvious in their intentions for the greater control over society. Their aim is further consolidation of power and wealth into the hands of radical ideologues and to transform almost every aspect of human society.

They are not subtle in their ambition. They call it The Great Reset.

Join the Mises Institute in Birmingham, Alabama for an event dedicated to this global threat. Speakers include Dr. Michael Rectenwald, author of The Great Reset and the Struggle for Liberty. One of the most prominent critics of woke capital, Dr. Rectenwald has been featured on Tucker Carlson, The Ingraham Angle, War Room with Steve Bannon, and is a regular contributor to the Mises Wire. Dr. Jonathan Newman, a Mises Fellow, will provide an economic lens to The Great Reset, the dangers that are emerging in the midst of a national banking crisis, and the dangers posed by the weaponization of money and banking.

What does The Great Reset mean for Alabama? Allen Mendenhall, in his position as Associate Dean and Grady Rosier Professor in the Sorrell College of Business at Troy University, has emerged as one of the leading fighters against the DEI-ESG agenda of woke capital. He will speak on his experiences and what efforts states like Alabama must take to defend themselves from the schemes of Washington, the WEF, and other centers of power. Rectenwald and Mendenhall will be joined by Amie Beth Shaver, a reporter for 1819 News who has covered the issue throughout the state, for a panel on this important topic.

This event will now be held at Oak Mountain Brewing Company, 110 Cahaba Valley Rd., Pelham, Alabama, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Registration is $50 and includes a catered lunch.

What is the Mises Institute?

The Mises Institute is a non-profit organization that exists to promote teaching and research in the Austrian School of economics, individual freedom, honest history, and international peace, in the tradition of Ludwig von Mises and Murray N. Rothbard.

Non-political, non-partisan, and non-PC, we advocate a radical shift in the intellectual climate, away from statism and toward a private property order. We believe that our foundational ideas are of permanent value, and oppose all efforts at compromise, sellout, and amalgamation of these ideas with fashionable political, cultural, and social doctrines inimical to their spirit.
