Lew Rockwell Becomes First Distinguished Honorary Member of Brazil’s Mises Institute.

Helio Beltrão, founder and president of Instituto Mises Brasil writes:
Our bylaws stipulate a category of member so far unused: the Distinguished Honorary Member. I have proposed to the board - and am happy to say it is approved, pending your acceptance -, that you become the first Distinguished Honorary Member of Mises Brazil.  (You already hold special lifetime membership number 00 of the general membership category.)  The board has further approved that Mises Brasil grant additional Distinguished Membership to our three most relevant scholars: Ubiratan Iorio, Fabio Barbieri, and Antony Mueller.
Thanks to Helio and everyone at Mises Brasil!

What is the Mises Institute?

The Mises Institute is a non-profit organization that exists to promote teaching and research in the Austrian School of economics, individual freedom, honest history, and international peace, in the tradition of Ludwig von Mises and Murray N. Rothbard.

Non-political, non-partisan, and non-PC, we advocate a radical shift in the intellectual climate, away from statism and toward a private property order. We believe that our foundational ideas are of permanent value, and oppose all efforts at compromise, sellout, and amalgamation of these ideas with fashionable political, cultural, and social doctrines inimical to their spirit.
