I have put together a memo to students interested in the Austrian School who are considering a PhD in economics. It addresses the question of where to go and who to study with once you are there. Granting that there is no perfect program, there are many options available. Here is my memo. Please email me with suggestions or corrections.

What is the Mises Institute?

The Mises Institute is a non-profit organization that exists to promote teaching and research in the Austrian School of economics, individual freedom, honest history, and international peace, in the tradition of Ludwig von Mises and Murray N. Rothbard.
