As We Go Marching

Free Life Editions

FREE LIFE EDITIONS is an educational project formed to publish works confronting issues related to personal, social and political freedom. This includes both reprinting important libertarian classics as well as encouraging and publishing significant new contributions to the contemporary libertarian perspective. Libertarianism is for us not a closed doctrine, but a broadly construed anti-authoritarianism, a continuously developing understanding of the forms of freedom. It is to that understanding that we intend, through these publications, to contribute.

We would like to receive comments and suggestions from readers of our books.

The staff of Free Life Editions would like to express our thanks to all the people who helped to make the publication of this book possible.

What is the Mises Institute?

The Mises Institute is a non-profit organization that exists to promote teaching and research in the Austrian School of economics, individual freedom, honest history, and international peace, in the tradition of Ludwig von Mises and Murray N. Rothbard.

Non-political, non-partisan, and non-PC, we advocate a radical shift in the intellectual climate, away from statism and toward a private property order. We believe that our foundational ideas are of permanent value, and oppose all efforts at compromise, sellout, and amalgamation of these ideas with fashionable political, cultural, and social doctrines inimical to their spirit.
