The new issue of the Quarterly Journal of Austrian Economics (Summer 1998), the flagship scholarly journal of the Mises Institute, features a never-before-published article by Ludwig von Mises entitled “Monopoly Prices.”
The manuscript, kept in the Grove City College Archives, is marked “Revised, July 1944.” It is his most in-depth treatment of the issue of monopoly prices, providing even greater detail than the later discussion in Human Action.
The new issue also features:
“The Impossibility of Socialist Economy” by Morgan O. Reynolds
“Entrepreneurship and Economic Growth” by Randall G. Holcombe
“A Geographical Perspective on Austrian Economics” by Pierre Desrochers
“The Recession of 1990: A Comment” By Paul Cwik
Book review by Roger Garrison of The Austrian Theory of Value and Capital: Studies in the Life and Work of Eugen von Böhm-Bawerk by Klaus Hennings.
