Will the American Economy Survive in 2018?
Join us in Dallas-Ft. Worth for a no-holds barred look at the US economy and political landscape.
Students, please use scholarship form at the end of this page.
On Saturday, June 2nd you will learn what internal and external threats face America from our four renowned experts. Together we will tackle electoral politics, war, socialism, and the reality of whether the American economy will survive in 2018 and beyond.
Danielle DiMartino Booth worked at New York investment houses before joining the Dallas Bank of the Federal Reserve. Her years working with (relative) Fed Hawk Richard Fisher led to the publication of Fed Up: An Insider’s Take on Why the Federal Reserve is Bad for America, a full-throated expose of how the Fed benefits elites at the expense of ordinary people.
Nomi Prins is a Wall Street veteran and expert on central bank mischief. Her books All the President’s Bankers and Collusion detail the cronyism and secret dealing of central banks, making the case against unchecked power in the hands of an elite class of bankers and their revolving-door clients at the Treasury and Fed.
Dr. Yuri Maltsev is a Soviet expatriate who worked as an economist in the Gorbachev era of “reforms.” He makes the strong case against what he terms “crony socialism,” detailing how politics, bureaucracy, and self-dealing monetary planners work against the cause of greater peace and prosperity.
Special guest Daniel McAdams of the Ron Paul Institute will speak on the vital subject of “military Keynesianism”--the unholy alliance among defense contractors, foreign policy mouthpieces, and think tanks that work together to create ongoing demand for war armaments, always keeping the American people alarmed and ready for the next military intervention:
Jeff Deist, president of the Mises Institute, will host and emcee.
The event takes place June 2, 2018, from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the City Club of Fort Worth, 301 Commerce Street (third floor of Bank of America tower). Includes a full brunch buffet and no-host bar with Bloody Marys and mimosas.
Authors’ books will be for sale and they are happy to autograph.
