Professor Röpke’s paper on “The Place of Economics Among the Sciences” originally appeared in the July 1953 issue of Studium Generale, Springer, Berlin, Göttingen, Heidelberg. Mr. Hazlitt’s review of Dr. von Mises’ book on Socialism first appeared in The New York Times on January 9, 1938, and his review of Human Action in Newsweek on September 19, 1949.
