Audio Interviews: Minimum Wages and Jobs

Recently on the Tom Woods Show, Tom Woods and I discussed the problem with using job growth as in indicator of economic progress. It's worker productivity and wealth that are the real indicators. We largely discussed "Job Growth Doesn't Mean We're Getting Richer."

And, on Thursday April 7, I was on KNUS in Denver at 6pm to discuss minimum wage laws. The plan right now is also to make this a monthly feature during which the hosts and I will get together to discuss various economic policies:

What is the Mises Institute?

The Mises Institute is a non-profit organization that exists to promote teaching and research in the Austrian School of economics, individual freedom, honest history, and international peace, in the tradition of Ludwig von Mises and Murray N. Rothbard.

Non-political, non-partisan, and non-PC, we advocate a radical shift in the intellectual climate, away from statism and toward a private property order. We believe that our foundational ideas are of permanent value, and oppose all efforts at compromise, sellout, and amalgamation of these ideas with fashionable political, cultural, and social doctrines inimical to their spirit.
