The anti-meat movement has influenced government policy well beyond anything close to the truth about meat. From the discredited food pyramid to government funding of “lab-grown meat,” government aids the activists who are making our lives worse.

Government entities like the Postal Service operate in a world of market prices, so they are not fully socialist. However, they still are subject to the limitations of socialist calculation problems.

Issues of homelessness and vagrancy in public spaces and on public transportation are made worse because government ownership of the property does not allow for exclusion. Instead, we get the “tragedy of the commons.”
