Born in 1936, Archie Richards has a BA from Yale University. As a stockbroker and financial planner, he was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as an Investment Advisor. From 2000 to 2007, he wrote weekly newspaper columns, “Richards on Money Matters,” which were nationally syndicated. For McGraw-Hill, he wrote “Understanding Exchange-Traded Funds” in 2007. For Defiance Press & Publishing, Conroe, TX, he wrote “America’s Governments, Enemies of the Poor” in 2020 and “America’s Bankruptcy Approaches” in 2021.
