Rand’s Strange Answers

By coincidence, just yesterday I discovered Ayn Rand Answers (referenced below by Mr. Tucker) at the library and checked it out.

So far, I’ve been surprised at how much I like Rand on so many things. I had become so used to ignoring some of her warmongering and libertarian-hating followers that I had forgotten how good she can be when she is good.

Central Banker Makes Stunning Statement

The Dallas Fed distributes a bi-monthly publication called Southwest Economy. Opening the latest one to appear in my mailbox, for January/February 2006, I began to read the “President’s Perspective,” by the bank’s president Richard W. Fisher, on p. 2. After a couple foggy paragraphs about globalization, its effects, and the new questions it supposedly raises, the statement lists several such questions.
