Join Ron Paul, David Stockman, Hunter Lewis, Tom Woods, Lew Rockwell, Tom DiLorenzo, Yuri Maltsev, Joe Salerno, Peter Klein, David Gordon, Mark Thornton, Jeff Deist, Patrick Newman and more for lively talks and discussion at our Supporters Summit in Auburn, plus golf, SEC football tailgating and Auburn University Homecoming game and festivities! September 27-29, 2018.

It only makes sense that Mises Institute supporters will be heading to a college campus this year. After all, the Mises Institute and its scholars are some of the few voices for freedom and free markets that are left in higher education. In this age of resurgent Marxism and political correctness, it’s becoming increasingly harder for students to find a home where they can learn sound economics and the scholarship of freedom.

For more than 35 years, the Mises Institute has been a home for faculty and students who need a place to learn, write, research and teach as scholars of the Austrian school and as defenders of peace and markets. We hope you can join us this year at our Auburn campus to see where so many students and teachers have — thanks to Mises Institute Members — received the support they need.

We’ll stay at the Marriott Grand National on beautiful Lake Saugahatchee and Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. There is currently a waiting list for rooms at the Marriot. To be placed on a waiting list please email your name, dates of arrival and departure, and telephone number to Rami Herrera and she will let you know as soon as a room becomes available. Or call her at 334-737-2142. Be sure to tell her you are with the Mises Institute.  The rate for Thursday, September 27 is $139 plus tax. The rate for Friday, September 28 and Saturday, September 29 is $359 per night plus tax. Other hotels in the area can be seen here. There are numerous accommodations through Air B&B and VRBO. If you are not staying at the Marriott Grand National, Uber and Tiger Taxi can transport you to the events.

Auburn is located an hour and 45 minutes south of Atlanta airport, which offers shuttle service to Auburn through Groome Transportation. The shuttle fee for Groome is $43 one way/$86 round trip (subject to change). The shuttle does not drop off or pick up at Marriott Grand National. If you make a reservation online with Groome and you are staying at the Marriott Grand National, please choose their drop-off/pick-up point of Opelika Fairfield Inn & Suites. Then email with your arrival and departure times at Fairfield Inn and the Mises Institute will transport you between Fairfield Inn and Marriott Grand National. Or you can use Uber or Tiger Taxi between Fairfield and Marriott.. The Mises Institute can provide transportation only between Fairfield Inn and Marriott Grand National.

Atlanta is the only airport offering shuttle service to Auburn. Other nearby airports are Columbus, GA and Montgomery, AL but you would need to rent a car for transportation or Uber to Auburn. There will be a bus to transport attendees between Marriott Grand National and the Mises Institute in Auburn on Friday and Saturday.

Tiger Transit offers free shuttles from other points to the Auburn University stadium (across from Mises Institute) on Saturday, September 29.
