Richard Sharvy
Richard Sharvy (1942–1988) was an accomplished philosopher and teacher though he never held a tenured position, and was an American-style rugged individualist. He wrote his own obituary: “He made outrageous conclusions reasonable, he mocked the gods, and he corrupted the youth.”
