Jonathan Simon

Jonathan Simon works at the intersection of law, economics, finance, and public policy. A lawyer and business professional with a background spanning law, finance, accounting, taxation, and international business, he holds a law degree completed with academic distinction, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, and advanced coursework in accounting focused on taxation and cross-border fiscal matters. His professional focus lies in political economy, international law, philosophy of law, and international taxation, extending into corporate finance and fiscal policy. These fields are approached through the practical convergence of economics, finance, accounting, and law. Research interests cover economic theory, law, fiscal policy, taxation, and the mechanics of fiscal and monetary stabilization. From an early age he developed a strong interest in free-market economics and the broader traditions of classical liberal and libertarian thought, which continues to inform his work on how market-based institutions shape national prosperity.
