5 Reforms Millennials Should Work For

5 Reforms Millennials Should Work For

Earlier this month, Rolling Stone ran an article called "Five Economic Reforms Millennials Should Be Fighting For." The five ground-breaking, never-before-envisioned new ideas were:

  1.  Guaranteed Work for Everybody
  2.  Social Security for All
  3. Take Back The Land
  4.  Make Everything Owned by Everybody
  5.  A Public Bank in Every State

The article should have been titled "Five Things That Have Been Imposed by Governments Repeatedly and Failed Miserably." On the other hand, Andrew Criscione has written a far more novel, interesting, and radical version.

What is the Mises Institute?

The Mises Institute is a non-profit organization that exists to promote teaching and research in the Austrian School of economics, individual freedom, honest history, and international peace, in the tradition of Ludwig von Mises and Murray N. Rothbard.

Non-political, non-partisan, and non-PC, we advocate a radical shift in the intellectual climate, away from statism and toward a private property order. We believe that our foundational ideas are of permanent value, and oppose all efforts at compromise, sellout, and amalgamation of these ideas with fashionable political, cultural, and social doctrines inimical to their spirit.
