I’ve always been perplexed by the dichotomy that often divides people’s avowed beliefs and their actions.
No one wanted to hear the message that voting by itself produces nothing, and that force by itself wastes resources and "produces" less and less.
Economic depression is good for the state. Even if the state knew how to end it, why would we suppose that it has the incentive to do so?

The government can prevent market forces from operating by channeling resources into artificial channels.

It's a hard truth for Americans to face that neither team in Washington is going to guard what we love the most. That is something we are going to have to face. Liberty is for the citizens to guard themselves.
