Tonderai Godknows Mapfumo

Tonderai Godknows Mapfumo is a graduate with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Ethics and Organizational Leadership. He is also a proud graduate of Cohort II from the Carl Menger Institute of Market Economics. Tonderai serves as the Research and Advocacy Officer for COMALISO (Coalition for Market and Liberal Solutions), a think tank based in Zimbabwe that advocates for a free market economy, property rights, constitutionalism, and the rule of law. He is passionate about applying Austrian economic principles to real-world challenges, particularly in the context of Zimbabwe, where he seeks to foster positive change through market-oriented solutions.

What is the Mises Institute?

The Mises Institute is a non-profit organization that exists to promote teaching and research in the Austrian School of economics, individual freedom, honest history, and international peace, in the tradition of Ludwig von Mises and Murray N. Rothbard.

Non-political, non-partisan, and non-PC, we advocate a radical shift in the intellectual climate, away from statism and toward a private property order. We believe that our foundational ideas are of permanent value, and oppose all efforts at compromise, sellout, and amalgamation of these ideas with fashionable political, cultural, and social doctrines inimical to their spirit.
