Michael Stack

Michael Stack is retired from Northern Illinois University where he both taught computer science and managed a group of systems programmers responsible for maintaining and enhancing the university's mainframe operating system. While in high school, he became aware of Mises (and so Rothbard) as a result of Ayn Rand's recommendation of Human Action. This led him to consider studying philosophy, but math was easier and the result was degrees in both math and computer science. He is a strong believer in the Non-Aggression Principle, without which civilization is not possible.
