Rothbard Graduate Seminar

Listed and linked below are the readings that all students must complete before attending RGS. 

All materials are available on Mises.org free of charge, and most readings are available in multiple formats (e.g., PDF, ePub, HTML, audio). Complimentary physical copies of the readings will be available to attendees upon arrival at RGS. Physical copies can be mailed in advance to U.S. addresses upon request by emailing felicia@mises.org.

Two to three weeks prior to the seminar, each participant will be assigned into 2-3 person discussion leader groups for each session. These groups will prepare questions and topics to discuss with the remaining participants, round table style during each session’s book period.

Schedule

The conference begins with dinner and opening remarks, Sunday, June 8, at 6:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time, and ends with dinner Friday, June 13. The schedule will be here soon.

Accommodations will be provided with arrival Sunday, June 8, and departure Saturday, June 13. If you need those dates changed, please contact Felicia. All student participants will be staying in Rothbard Village on the Mises Institute campus. You will receive check-in information the week before the seminar.

Travel Information

Scholarships include study materials, meals, accommodations with arrival Sunday, June 8 and departure Saturday, June 14 (accommodation location will be emailed to accepted students). Students are responsible for the cost of transportation to Auburn. Most people fly into Atlanta airport, 100 miles north of Auburn, and use Groom Transportation for shuttle service between Atlanta and Auburn. 

Attire

Business casual such as slacks, khakis, and collared or polo shirts.
