Mises Summer Internship
Mises Summer Internships at the Mises Institute in Auburn, Alabama, are available to current graduate and undergraduate students interested in obtaining professional experience at an Austrian economics nonprofit institution.
The program targets students seeking careers in academia or business and may be used to fulfill internship credits at a college or university. This internship offers students a unique opportunity to shadow Mises Institute staff in various job roles. Young scholars will also have the chance to write in defense of liberty, engage in social media development, and gain event planning expertise.
Summer interns receive a weekly stipend, a single-occupancy apartment on the Mises Institute campus, a shared office at the Mises Institute, transportation between the Atlanta airport and the Mises Institute, and admission to the Revisionist History of War Conference, the Rothbard Graduate Seminar, and Mises University.
Residency runs from mid-May until early August. NOTE: Interns must be a Mises U alumnus and able to attend the Revisionist History of War Conference, the Rothbard Graduate Seminar, and Mises University in May, June, and July to qualify for the internship.
David Brady, a 2024 Mises Summer Intern writes, “There is no better internship out there. Not only did I get the opportunity to participate in events like Rothbard Graduate Seminar, Mises University, and The Human Action Conference, but I learned how amazing events like these are made possible by a wonderful staff. If you are interested in a summer of Austrian economics and in the best workplace in the world, you should absolutely apply.”
