Generation Z is in trouble. A thin job market, an escalating housing crisis, the struggle to keep up with inflation, and the constant bombardment with slop content designed to manipulate emotions and obscure what is really going on with the economy.
Why is it that the economy seems so tilted to benefit Baby Boomers at the expense of future generations? Is capitalism broken, or is the root cause something else? What is the key to a civilization that fosters advancement, prosperity, cultural sanity, and inner-generational harmony?
The Mises Institute will visit the Grand Rapids Cornerstone University campus on Saturday, November 1 to shed light on these looming issues. Our speakers, Alex. J. Pollock, Mark Brandly, Jeffery L. Degner, and Connor O’Keeffe will address these questions and more.
This event is free for college students to attend. Prior registration is required, and a complimentary lunch will be provided.
Check-in begins at 10:30 a.m., and the first session will be held at 11 a.m. There will be networking opportunities during the lunch break and a special ceremony commemorating the unveiling of the David Gordon library collection. After the event, there will be an optional reception and social hour. Specific agenda and social hour details forthcoming.
