O bien los aranceles aumentan los ingresos procedentes de las importaciones extranjeras o bien encarecen las importaciones lo suficiente como para proteger a los productores nacionales, pero no ambas cosas. Los aranceles no tienen nada de mágico. Son impuestos y los pagas tú.

Tate Fegley is a Fellow of the Mises Institute, Chair of Business and Economics at Montreat College, and Research Fellow at the Independent Institute. He received his Ph.D. in economics from George Mason University, and he has a B.A. in economics, B.S. in criminal justice, and M.A. in criminal justice from Boise State University.
