Paolo L. Bernardini received his Ph.D. in history from the European University Institute in Florence. He is currently professor at the University of Insubria, Como (on leave), and professor of history at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of Nazarbayev University in Astana, Kazakhstan.

What is the Mises Institute?

The Mises Institute is a non-profit organization that exists to promote teaching and research in the Austrian School of economics, individual freedom, honest history, and international peace, in the tradition of Ludwig von Mises and Murray N. Rothbard.
