This shirt made its debut at the 2005 Mises University--designed by students to celebrate the life and work of Murray N. Rothbard. He was called the "state's greatest living enemy"--but he remains its greatest enemy today.

Rothbard's profile is featured here, along with the slogan "Enemy of the State."

The words sum up the theme of Rothbard's intellectual contribution. The color black is traditionally associated with independence and causes that reject loyalty to any particular state apparatus.

All shirts are 100% cotton pre-shrunk. Chest sizes are:

	by Jorge on 5/5/2009	My favorite Mises.org shirt Geniuses like Mises and Murray are few in a generation. Freakin' Murray is writting more high quality books after his death (thanks to the institute) than many writers do in their lifetime. Just like Mises, Murray was uncompromising and for that reason, poor schmucks like me have a vast source of liberty science to study from. Thanks for not selling out Rothbard!
	by Robert on 8/25/2008	Musicians love it I'm a part time musician and play a few open mics in the Houston area. I always get comments and accolades about this T-shirt when I wear it at these events. They are attended, for the most part, by musicians. And musicians tend to be an independent bunch of free thinkers who despise interference in their lives by government or anything else.
	by edward on 7/5/2008	Great Conversation Piece I love to wear this shirt to my University as it is a fantastic opportunity to speak to others about the tyranny of the State and Murray Rothbard. Unfortunately, poor Murray has been mistaken for his ideological counterpart, Henry Kissinger! (Their portraits are eerily similar.) However, the text under Henry would more than likely read "Patron Saint of the State"
	by Kelly O'Keefe on 6/28/2008	An intellectual hero My wife and I worked with Murray in New York in the 80s. He was a generous, genius-curmudgeon. Murray’s writing made libertarian philosophy accessible to millions of activists. We will wear our shirts with pride.
