Positivism’s claim that “only statements of observable facts have meaning” was aclaim not subject to observation and thus, by its own definition, the claim had nomeaning.
In other words, the argument for the fact/value dichotomy is a self-refuting and contradicting argument.
The refutation of the fact/value dichotomy is essentially a confirmation of natural law, rights, and justice, since all of these are derived from fact.

I also think Rasmussen and Uyl deal with it in one of their books, I'm not sure though I heard Jon or Geoffrey mention it I think. I've not read the books although I intend on doing so soon.
