I (and others) have seen several threads degenerate into the same personality clashes over and over. Repeatedly. Ad nauseum.

That's going to end. No more low-key wars. No more pissing matches among the same people all the time about the same things. At the first sign of it, the thread gets locked. Period.

This is a board for the Mises Institute, remember? Let's not have /b/ measuring contests, ok? Disagreeing with someone is fine. A well-written sarcastic response is fine. The same people dredging up the same crap in every thread? That's not fine. It ends now. Let's raise the signal quality here.

Socialism can't calculate, and the mises forums can't stay on topic; its the nature of the world.

Abstract liberty, like other mere abstractions, is not to be found.

I understand the concern, and share it to some extent, but I'm not sure how far you plan on going with this. Shouldn't there be some sort of warning first, such that topics can be guided back on track before they are locked?

Lol I just got this great visual of the dragon in your avatar threatening everyone with fiery death if they do not comply.

Nice.
