Yeah nothing to see here, we paid our loans off, Don't look behind the curtain at the $167 billion given by the US Government to backup Credit Default Swap Contracts counter partied by AIG.

And as in the case of GM, Bankruptcy is a significantly easier way to get rid of liabilities than is selling products.  And govenrment managed "Organized Bankruptcy" is a whole lot easier to get through than real Bankruptcy.
