All because his partners, the fertitta brothers, own resturants and are not a union.  The Cullionary union apparently, is powerful in New York.  And apparently, spend tons of their union member's money on such a worthless cause, like keeping the UFC out of New York.

Anyone who's been following UFC, knows just how stupid this ban on the UFC is in New York.  The current light heavyweight champ is from New York, and the UFC and Dana White, of course, would love to have one of his championship matches in Madison Square Garden, and New Yorkers would love this to happen as well.  Unfortunately, several New York politicians have the power to keep this from happening.

The sad part is, the current Light heavyweight champ is probably going to turn out to be one of the greatest fightrers of all time.  I already think he could probably beat the greatest fighter in the history of the world, Anderson Silva.  Believe me, that is saying alot.
