Yeah, I figured I would just dabble here to debate methodology, but I now frequent more than I expected and would like another username.

A moderator such as myself can change a username. What would you have it be?

Related question:

Is it just me whos able to change their screen name at Edit (profile)->Profile Options->Common Profile Options -> Name? Why the need to ask a mod at all?

I find it very odd that a forum would freely offer that function. If everyone were to change their names constantly, it would be hard to see whose posts belong to who. ANARCHY WOULD ENSUE I SAY. jk but still weird.

That's not your username.

I guess you knew that already, and just wanted your login name to match the name that shows in your posts then?

Okay.

Hmm, you might be teaching me something new. I didn't know the "Name" spot would alter how my username appears to others.
