Why not? You can easily distinguish between a dog and the colour red, e.g. one is an animal. If you think slavery is so different from what you're proposing you could easily just say that, e.g. 'it's not forced labour'.

Why should I? Why in the world would it have any relation to slavery? Do I waltz into the Large Hadron Collider and ask them how their models are any difference from slavery? I have no reason to expect my system to have any relation from slavery. It's like saying "please distininguish your dog from the color red." Um, what?

I made my opening statement. It's your jobs to steer the debate where you want it. I made my case for the government "I" wanted - essentially this but with smarter regulations and some more help for the poor.

I technically agree with your arguments, I just think they could have been presented better and with more citations. (I will do a review of your argument at the end)

Also, remember that in a debate you could always have false information thrown at you. Make sure to check your opponent's facts!
