"they" are not ideologically or theologically homogenous. however muslims sometimes treat women like cattle or worse. for example, in iraq you would see a bongo truck with the patriarch driving, the younger males in the passenger places, and the wife/mother in the back with two goats.

I don't think they really do. I think this is played up in Western Media so that gullible Westerners, entirely ignorant of the world, will look at them as idiotic and hostile over little things.
