He would have to either cut a lot of what he wrote, or it's going to be a long comic.

Instead of "translating" sentence for sentence, there could be a series of companion comic strips, each exploring some theme from the book, and demonstrating it in very accessible form. Will cover kids and casual audiences, who will not read the book anyway. Hey, the comics can have references to the book, being a kind of a teaser for "the real thing". "Read more about this in chapter six of TMoF!"

Re: Friedman asking for input about reworking TMoF

Well I know that Friedman considers himself to be a man of the Chicago school rather than the Austrian school, which I made an inquiry thread about a few weeks ago.

Re: Friedman asking for input about reworking TMoF

In effect yes. Their reasons for advocating anarchism are radically different, however. They also have exceptionally different views on the matter of banking.

Re: Friedman asking for input about reworking TMoF

But it's not like the sentences are easily transferable to pictures. He would have to either cut a lot of what he wrote, or it's going to be a long comic.

That said, his book is pretty good. It's been too long ago isnce I read it for me to make meaningful contributions but in essense, anarcho-capitalism requires its own unified "bible", as most books on it so far either cover the same area, i.e. law and order (which is understandable), but I think a more unified picture could be painted.

Friedman asking for input about reworking TMoF
