I am from Serbia and in my part of the world, the Balkans, the populations believe only membership of the EU will save them and have lost all faith in local politicians. I'm not sure the EU is the panacea but it is certainly better than the current situation. We will be forced to better ourself, to innovate, trade and behave in a more neighborly way.

Still I believe the main purpose of the EU is to provide a powerful new "country" to throw some weight around the world and are not really interested in the majority of the European population.

People I remembered all the time but had no way to get in touch with as year passed on and on and on. Yes, technology is a wonderful way of feeling "near" those we love, regardless what spot of this world they occupy... they could be physically near us... or perhaps thousands of kilometers away.... but with just a click, they seem to be right by our side.

You are one of those people I often remembered, but did not know where or how to find. I'm glad we're back "together", so to speak, and I know we will not get lost in the world again.

Además, todos los años el 31 de enero me acordaba de vos!!!!!!!!! believe it or not.... hay cosas que no se olvidan... especialmente si es alguien que nació bajo la misma estrella!!!
