My real name is Rad Schneider and I live in Holland, MI.
My first contact with Ludwig Von Mises happened in my Government class where I did a report on "Bureaucracy". I learned more about government than ever by reading Von Mises. His readings had the largest impact on my political ideology more than anything else. Reading Von Mises was the same for me as reading Nietzsche and Schopenhauer for the first time. All were life changing times in my life. I became more aware of the Libertarian outlook when I heard Ron Paul speak for the first time. I never thought of myself as a conservative thinker. I was always on the "Liberal" side of the political spectrum during my High School years. This had to do with the fact that I had no understanding of sound economic policies, limited government advantages, and the disaster of the other side.
I am currently finishing my two year degree in Business Administration Management through the University of Phoenix. I plan on completing my four year in Accounting. I look forward to attending conferences and the Von Mises University sessions this summer.
