I´ve spent quite a lot of time in Your Country between the coup´d état from 1989/90 until mid of the 90ies. Romania was actually the place where I became totally cured from those somehow socialist ideas I still had in those days of my late youth. [A]
I havent been in Romaia since 1996 - for all the students that were my friends had left for western countries within a couple of years - and I actually had more romaninan-romaninan friends than of magyar or german background... I was mostly in Cluj - but I had even contacts to Sibiu, Brasov and even one to Bucuresti.
