Isn't this something like Douglas Social Credit? http://douglassocialcredit.com/ Sounds like socialism.

Just refer to it as 'white collar market.'
What is a pink market, then? I've heard about white collar before

Does no one else have any information for me on banks and credit unions? Is it better to just not use one? If so, does anyone have any recommendations for how to pay your bills online without the use of a debit card? Don't think I want to use that Scottrade idea from Rick.. seems a bit crazy.
This is a little off-topic, but how hard is it to obtain/use a Swiss bank account?
This is a great question. But is a Swiss account any better than an American account?

  • Re: Basic books on free market (recommendations)

It is utterly astounding just how widely misunderstood the economic philosophy of Capitalism is. Over and over again I see otherwise extraordinarily intelligent people make tremendous errors whenever they bring up the topic. The information debunking everything they say is so widely available, if they had any interest in researching their arguments
Open up a Scottrade Account and dump your money into commodities. Buy Oil, Buy Gold, Buy SIlver, Cooper, and a few gold mining stocks as well. like FCX etc... thats 90% with the 10% you want liquid, go to a local credit union that offers a debit card. - Rick
Is this really a sound plan? I haven't done any investing

  • So, I am thinking about opening a bank account...

I haven't had one since, well, never. Unless you count a savings account your parents opened for you when you were a kid. Which no longer exists. I've actually been using a Western Union Pre-Paid Visa Debit Card. I have no credit, too. Never had a credit card before. But the woman I have been livign with for years has decided she wants to buy
RULE #1--whatever your travels, keep your feet on the ground. If you don't understand something, or find it easy to deny, don't accept it. In philosophy, the bullshit is in the clouds, not on the ground. Real philosophic foundations, although they may form the basis of your greatest most inspiring values
