Johannes is a devotee of the Austrian school of Economics.
Johannes is also Editor of Vigilant Investor, a near daily blog started in early 2005 to warn readers of the looming credit bubble crisis that was building and readying to implode. He remains editor of the Ernharth Group Wealth Report, a print publication that is reserved for clients of his consulting practice, which has carried the same theme since its start in 2002.
A graduate of Middlebury College, VT, Johannes spent time as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Uganda, East Africa, an experience that contributed to his libertarian conversion. Johannes is a former Chair of the Libertarian Party of Pittsburgh, and remains a champion of free market and other libertarian ideals.
