Autolykos: Jackson, are you going to actually respond to my posts? Or do I need to publicly accuse you of trolling and start reporting your posts as such?
Autolykos: That's right. Now I'll directly and rudely call you a troll, because at this point, I definitely think you are one.
Autolykos: You and Laotzu del Zinn don't just have "a different way of thinking" - you have a different reason for being here, as far as I can tell. That reason is dishonest. That is, you're both liars and trolls as far as I'm concerned.
Autolykos: Let's try this again. Are you going to fix your tone or not?
Autolykos: Troll harder, Xarthaz. no
No. Autolykos is not a troll. In other words, he is not posting to provoke emotional responses. There are a fair amount of people here who are actually intellectually dishonest, and Autolykos calls them out on it. I find some of these to be wildly out of context, as Jackson LaRose has actually insulted Autolykos by calling him stupid on multiple occassions. Limitgov was incredibly rude to Autolykos, and he responded accordingly. Since you are so new here, I think it would be better if you don't start threads about other members unless you have a problem directly with the person. In other words, if limitgov or Jackson are irritated with Autolykos, let them start a thread.
The threads you start are not your own. Anyone can post to them. If anyone is especially nasty, the mods typically remove or warn posters. I have never seen Autolykos enter a thread to harass someone who has demonstrated that he is here for honest debate. If you have ever seen something that looks like that, you should read their past conversations, and you will see that this person has demonstrated a lack of respect for honest debate.
I know you want to hear from Autolykos, but these accusations are without merit in my opinion.
triknighted:Autolykos, Being relatively new to Mises, and seeing your recent thread on John James, I thought this thread should be posted here. Is it your intention to go around on Mises.org and accuse members of being trolls in order to provoke emotional responses from them?
triknighted:You have some good insight into a lot of matters, and oftentimes it is well thought out, but sometimes your approach in response to others' comments seems childish and berating at times, and frankly I don't think it is needed or welcome here.
triknighted:It creates an air of hostility and I think that's why, a lot of the time, people don't respond to you right away.
triknighted:Below is a small sample of your recent comments to a few members to give context. Really, it seems a bit childish, and I wish you would respond to your Mises peers a little more courteously, even if we don't respond to your answer immediately or disagree with you on an issue.
triknighted:I suggest possibly curbing the emotion in your retorts, and if anybody truly offends you, objectively state that to be the case instead of throwing around accusation which are likely untrue. Please, without making this issue about anybody or anything else, do you concur with my request?
