• Re: Marxian exploitation
You(and most people) have it backwards. Anarchy is defined as the absense of the political means. Anarchy would be cooperation towards common ends.
Absense of political means is an impossibility. As soon as you remove the political means present, other political...

  • Failed States

I found an interesting article on "failed states":
Whether it is an unexpected food crisis or a devastating hurricane, the world’s weakest states are the most exposed when crisis strikes. In the fourth annual Failed States Index, FOREIGN POLICY and The Fund for Peace rank the countries...

  • Could anarchy work in human society?

Okay - in another forum, a side issue came up, largely because of my ignorance. While I'd love to discuss the possibilities, all of the anarchists I've encountered to date have been nihilists, with no coherent idea of how anarchist society would work. Finding a self-identified anarchist with...

  • ID verification under anarchy

I was thinking this afternoon mainly about banking under anarchy. Say I start an account with a bank, but with no gov't ID's, what would prevent others from withdrawing in my name???? Would the bank begin to issue ID cards or have fingerprints on file??? I don't know if this has been discussed...

  • Aviation regulation?

I've been wondering lately how the aviation sector would work in an anarcho-capitalist society, and how common rules regarding flying would develop and be adopted/enforced. I'm not concerned about things like airline safety etc. since this would obviously be solved through certificates and such...

  • Inspection Sticker

The Man pulled me over today for driving without an inspection sticker. I have not been pulled over for anything in years, but to be honest I have not had an inspection sticker on my vehicle for over a year as well--not because my truck won't pass inspection, but rather because I think the idea of...

  • Re: Religious anarchists; please explain
Henry Hazlitt would tell you to your face that economic freedom can not exist without good laws.
Good laws/rules/policies can exist without government. Walmart has a really good return policy. Is that because the government pointed a gun at them and said you must...

  • Re: Autodidact: The Unnecessary Leper

I'm not certain that I am entering into this intercourse properly, but here goes: Just joined the Forum. Have considered myself to be libertarian for years. I'm impressed at the level of knowledge that I see here. But, I fear that anything that I might post will be summarily dismissed because...
