Found it plain scary - I'm still trying to "digest" the information, I'd love to think it's a hoax but some facts are just disturbing.

Interesting. I have heard similar things before. The problem is however is that the debates about these issues are too polemical. Most of the real debates, if they actually still occur, are in obscure journals no one reads, let alone get much press coverage; there is little for the intelligent layman. What I'd love to see is a formal debate between Dr Rima and a mainstream scientist. If there is a similar debate please link it. I'd love to see these kinds of debates happen more often between heterdox scientist and the mainstream; for example on Quantum mechanics, electromagnetism and aspects of relativity.
