[ It seems to me that the arguments for free trade are so clear - back in the 19th century, even the socialists were in favor of free trade.  I wonder why so many people are opposed to it.]

But in the 20th centruy, the Goverment of a country is the largest interest group. Tariffs benefit them at the expense of eveiyone else.

Denationalization of Money is the condition of free trade. Have we found how to live it?
