Just thought I`d let you know, I disappeared a while ago, but back now. Hopefuly will last longer this time around by taking myself a little less seriously. I vanished while in the midst of a semi-formal debate with Giles which was very poor form, so I would like to appologise for that. I was just putting off writting my reply until the idea of ever posting it became progressively more silly. So there weren`t any particularly deep reasons behind it all...

Anyway, hoping for a fresh start now and to try my new more easy going approach. (And as part of that I`ll say there are no ill feelings from my side towards anyone I might have had less than 100% polite debates in the past.)

I think Giles changed his mind while you were away =P

February 17 - 1600 - Giordano Bruno is burnt alive by the catholic church.
Aquinas : "much more reason is there for heretics, as soon as they are convicted of heresy, to be not only excommunicated but even put to death."
