Don't you just love the way "conservatives" pay lip service to limited government and free markets?  This cartoonist illustrates just that with this hilarious comic strip:

It really bugs me. The worst part is when you are telling someone that the solution to the recession is free markets,  deregulation, etc, and they say that that's what got us into the recession, because Bush and other conservatives talk about free markets and deregulation. Then you have to explain to them that conservatives do not believe in free markets, what free markets really are, etc. By the time you are done they have probably lost interest.

Anyway, great cartoon.

Something that annoys me to no end too.  Conservatives still use the rhetoric though are no where near it in terms of what they actually do.  I think it's one of the major problems actual supporters of free markets have to overcome.
