Nine years later, older, and hopefully a bit wiser I have embraced libertarianism and austrian economics and hunger to learn more and more.

9/11 was nine years ago? Jeez, I am getting elderly.

Anyways, welcome to the forum. Hello all,

I have lurked here for quite awhile and use this site daily. I figured it was time to join.

I have probably been a libertarian my whole life but just didn't know it. It took me until my late 20's to become officially a libertarian. And like many, the watershed event for me was 9-11.

I was always well read on history and international/foreign relations (was always sort of a academic side hobby) but I was "mainstream" well read. As I walked the streets of Manhattan on 9-11 I knew something was not right. I had a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach and I just knew I had been lied to. My academic life to that point had been a complete sham, a fraud.

Nine years later, older, and hopefully a bit wiser I have embraced libertarianism and austrian economics and hunger to learn more and more.
