I am looking at entering a PhD in economics program at some time in the next year or two, and one school I have a large amount of interest in is Suffolk University. A person I will loosely refer to as my mentor told me to make sure and check out their placement abilities. I am trying, with little luck to find anything out about it. My question to you is whether you know anything I havent read on the website or in the letter by Dr. Block? Thanks in advance.
Isn't Suffolk University in the UK? If I was you, I'd be trying to get to the USA, so you can meet lots of smart libertarians. America is where it's all happening. Lots of students do their PhD outside of their home country, just to get a taste of another country.
No, there's a Suffolk in the US too.
To darkness I condemn you...

Suffolk University is in Boston. I live in Illinois. As an answer to my question, I got an email back from the Economics department telling me that their first PhD graduate is looking for a job currently.
Maybe soon you will be a 'famous' (among us atleast) adjunct professor for the LvMI?

I can dream at the very least.
Here's some very good lectures on career strategy:
Future Directions of Austrian Economics - Peter Boettke
The Vocational Economist - Peter Klein
LibertarianAnarchy.com - Government is immoral, unnecessary, and doesn't work!
I live in between Suffolk and MIT. Nice buildings and a nice stting to be learning in.
The major campus is in the center of Boston next to beacon Hill (some good resturants and pubs round there as well ;) ).
It seems to be a good University and you aren't far from Harvard and MIT over the river in Cambridge.
