I went straight for the mother of all treatise, Rothbard's Man, Economy, and the State, with Power and Market.

As for Against Intellectual Monopoly book, it is the most mind-blowing economic book I ever read. By the end of the book, I was already an abolisionist. I read it 2-3 times over. In anycase, it been a long time since I read the book.

You can do this with any book. Look broadly through the store.

Does this mean one can read any book then claim a book of similar price? If so, it's an interesting prospect!

To darkness I condemn you...

I asked for The Driver by Garet Garrett.

Jon Irenicus:

It's some insider humour from another site we're on. Basically he's saying he doesn't have a proper website.

Neurotic clarification, by "proper website" I meant any website not on a Mises domain, meaning not a Mises blog.

Such as Blogger, the various free forum software people use, Wordpress or self-hosted.  Those would be "proper websites".

No offense intended to anyone or their web presence.

just another note to renew this offer. We've had a good response but more could be involved.

If I was too participate, I don't think I'd be able to alleviate my guilt and consider that I had "paid you back" so to speak, unless I wrote some kind of masterpiece. Haha. Smile

I think I'll enter the frey in good time. Just once I believe I have sufficiently educated myself in the Austrian school of thought.

Is there a time limit on this offer at all?

Cheers Mr Tucker

Yes
