I'm new to the Austrian School (though not Liberalism in general), and recently decided I wanted to have a more solid basis of knowledge to defend my beliefs from Leftist Onslaughts (sadly, I am enrolled in a high-school where my History teacher butchers the pronunciation of "laissez-faire" and can't even define it, not to mention that my school is considered the cream of the crop of public schools). In particular, is there any book out there that analyzes instances in American history, and how they were handled in reality as opposed to an ideal, Capitalist approach? Or a book on American history by an Austrian Author?

I really wish there were a low-level Austrian overview of American history in the style of more popular history books like A People's History of the United States (libtard propoganda).

Doesn't seem like it would be too hard to write >_>
