Where can I find sources that point out the lies and myth in this work of "historical fiction"?  Wikipedia has taken a decidedly pro-Sinclair view, barely even giving one source as a negative review of the book and the socialists there are using the classic tyranny-of-majority strategy in deeming it an unreputable source.  I imagine that this will be pretty difficult to find...  Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

This might be of interest to you. In particular, it mentions a 1906 report by the Department of Agriculture's Bureau of Animal Husbandry, which is a point-by-point refutation of Sinclair's claims.

Ah, yes.  That was the article that the Wikipedos deemed "not a reputable source", unfortunately, and I'm currently debating someone who thinks that Wikipedia is always accurate and there's no source of systemic bias in it.  Thanks anyway, though.

If this is the case you might want to cut your losses and move on.

Good point.  The Internet is pretty hopeless.
