Yep, I'm replying again, just to make sure that zoning laws influence ghettos, not sure.

More things:

"The free market does what is most efficient.  It will use machines instead of people.  This puts people out of work.  Therefore, the free market isn't good, because people need work."

"Government is necessary to help those that are unemployed from machines."

"The rich are greedy and don't do things to help the poor."

"The free market doesn't help the poor."

Schools are labour camps.

So we must use human power to harvest all the crops instead of combines. Let's all go back to primitive ways. In fact, let's all stop using cars, tv's, etc.

But government uses machines.

Except for all those philanthropic foundations.

Your father knows better, too. His entire problem is that he's jealous of anyone with a penny more than he has. In fact, that's where a lot of economic fallacies stem: jealousy twisted.

Not to mention that machines require manufacturers and servicemen, as well as other maintenance workers.

Oh noez! The poor! Surprise Let's enslave all of mankind because markets (apparently) do not benefit this ill-defined group.
