The more I hear and not hear from Obama the more I want to vote for his opponent. He is now into stealing money for God:

If Obama wants to win he should not speak of increasing theft and violence against citizens but of reducing it. Don't say you are taking money from one and giving it another. Say that you want to leave Iraq as soon as possible and will stop all covert and overt operations against the people of Iran if elected president.
I love this quote:
Barack Obama: The challenges we face today ... are simply too big for government to solve alone. We need all hands on deck.

That just made me laugh.

The more I hear from him the more he scares me. Frankly, I think he is a very dangerous man. Maybe even more so than McCain.
Sometimes "majority" simply means that all the fools are on the same side

He means that the present government alone is not enough... we need MORE government. It didn't work the last time and the three thousand times before that but this time, given the right amount of money and manpower, we shall overcome...
Yes, it's time for the Dr Goebbels show!
That sounds about right.

To answer the question, Yes I think he does. Obama doesn't need the informed citizen's vote. He's relying on the masses and they are delivering quite well. Libertarians should shed the light on this false prophet.

Although a lot of McCain's stances are downright stupid and pro big government, he at least supports a decrease in corporate and capital gains taxes, he is against universal health care, he might block increases in the minimum wage, etc. McCain's Presidency will probably be less destructive.
I'd also like to point something out about Obama's Iraq stance vs. McCain's Iraq stance. Obama wants to pull out of Iraq without a significant change in our foreign policy, which really would be suicide. We can't pull out of Iraq and expect everyone to love us unless we also end our support for tyrannical governments in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, as well as our unwarranted support for Israel. At the same time, we should engage in more free trade with places like Iran so we can bring our "sinful pleasures" to them (show the greatness of Western civilization). If we can really change our foreign policy, pulling out of Iraq makes sense. However, if we don't change our foreign policy but pull out of Iraq, we are doing an extremely bad thing in that we just wasted huge manpower on creating more enemies. McCain's "100 year" stance is better from the point that if we won't change our foreign policy it would be better if we just forced our values upon them.
Dunno if the above made much sense, but I'm basically saying that unless we significantly change foreign policy, pulling out of Iraq will give us more trouble.
